Titan Jantsa Jant Sanayi Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş. Awarded ISO 9001 (2000)

Titan Europe Plc is pleased to announce that its joint venture (JV) business Titan Jantsa Jant Sanayi Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş. has been awarded the ISO 9001 (2000) in June 2008.

This award is an international standard which shows that the recipient assures the product and process quality within the businesses. Titan Jantsa was created in September 2005 between Titan Italia, a subsidiary of Titan Europe Plc and Jantsa Jant Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., the largest wheel manufacturer in Turkey.

Titan Jantsa serves the Turkish market and the Western European, OEM customers. Ercan Cercioglu, Managing Director of Jantsa said, “This JV with Titan has been a resounding success. By Titan and Jantsa combining their skills and knowledge we have built a company of near world class levels in a very short time.”

It began production one year after the JV agreement was signed and has grown significantly over the last year.

Nihat Kosemen, Titan Jantsa General Manager said, “Our workforce has succeeded in a very short time to gain this prestigious standard. Although it demonstrates our ability and control of our products and processes it has only been possible with the dedication and excellence of our workforce.”

The Titan Jantsa operation now manufactures 250,000 wheels per year and supplies CNH, Same, Landini and Renault in Europe and Turk Tractor in Turkey with further capacity available.
