Wheels India has a technical and financial partnership with Titan Europe who own 35.9% of the company. Wheels India increased its capacity to support large mining wheel requirements from global OEM customers in India. This investment is aligned to Titan Europe’s strategy to grow its mining business in support of the OEMs worldwide.
Wheels India is a leading manufacturer of wheels for passenger cars, utility vehicles, trucks, buses, agricultural tractors and construction equipment in India. The company supplies two thirds of the domestic market requirement. It also exports 15% of its turnover to North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and South Africa.
There are 3 manufacturing plants across India with sites at Padi, Pune and Rampur. The annual capacity is 5.5 million wheels.
